At the first quarter of 2020 when most other province encounters economic slow down due to the covid 19 pandemic, East Java investment realization grew by 168,7%, which is higher than the national investment realization with only 1,2%. That’s made East Java as the first major provincial investment destination during first quarter of 2020. It strategic position as eastern Indonesia region gateway with its large number of people as potential market which is supported by wide range and overwhelming natural resources, are the reason of why many investors choose East Java as an investment destination.
Availability of infrastructure supporting international projects such as ports, industrial zones, international airports, highway and toll roads, are several of the reasons.
